194 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19 from a sample size of 3,935 tested in the last 24 hours.
This takes Kenya’s cumulative confirmed positive cases to 104,500.
In a statement on Tuesday, February 22, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe disclosed that the total tests conducted so far are 1,273,281.
From the positive cases recorded in the last 24 hours, 146 are Kenyans while 48 are foreigners. 108 are males while 86 are females.

The youngest is a six-year-old child while the eldest is 95 years.
39 patients have recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours. Total recoveries now stand at 85,665.
Sadly, 10 patients have succumbed to the disease pushing our cumulative fatality to 1,837.
There are 344 patients currently admitted to various health facilities countrywide, while 1,283 patients are on Home Based Isolation and Care.
55 patients are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 26 of whom are on ventilator support and 23 on supplemental oxygen.
6 patients are on observation. Another 9 patients are separately on supplementary oxygen with all of them in the general wards.
No patient is in the High Dependency Unit (HDU).
