Ghanaian reggae artist Rocky Dawuni has urged all Ghanaians to value and protect the indigenous culture of the land.

According to Rocky, our culture is gradually fading away because of the imitation of Western culture. He added that Ghanaians have blindly followed the ways of the white man and think they are advancing in life.

The reggae artist went further to say the only way that the country and the continent as a whole can advance is when we put in the effort to elevate and promote our culture to the outside world.

In an interview with Y107.9FM’s Kojo Manuel on YDiscodiares, the reggae section poured out his grievances about the ways our indigenous culture has been tampered with.

His new album according to Rocky Dawuni is channeled towards promoting awareness of the African culture.
