The Kaduna state government has stated that it is collaborating with the Nasarawa state government and security services to rescue Gyet Muade, the paramount ruler of Jaba Jaba Chiefdom, who was abducted by gunmen in Nasarawa on July 27.

The Monarch was kidnapped while working on his farm in Nasarawa’s Gitata settlement, which shares a border with Kaduna’s Jaba.

Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan who led some government and security officials to the palace of the Kpop Ham in Jaba Chiefdom on behalf of Governor El-Rufai, promised that the government of the two states will do everything possible to ensure the speedy rescue of the first class traditional ruler, especially considering his age and fragile health.
