Former South African president President Jacob Zuma has finally begun his 15 months jail sentence after he was convicted by the South African Supreme Court for corruption.

The former head of State has been sent to a correctional centre in his hometown which is in the province of KwaZulu-Natal.

Before he was sent to the correctional centre, Jacob Zuma was threatened by the police to willingly tender himself into the prison service department by Wednesday’s midnight.

Jacob Zuma aged 79 will spend the rest of the next 15 months at the correctional centre.

In other news, his sympathizers have taken to the streets to demonstrate against their idol’s conviction.

Jacob’s Zuma’s daughter Dudu Zuma-Sambudla has taken to her Twitter page to react to her father’s sad end and according to her, the family is still in “High Spirits”.
