Former news girl Jackie Maribe has come out to name and shame her so-called friends.
Jackie talked of how her friends namely Kirino Ngarua, Six Kapienga, Terryanne Chebet, and Monica Kiragu all abandoned her after she was arrested. If you remember that girl squad was the envy of many. They would go on trips together, post pictures of them enjoying life together, and were even part of the surprise engagement party that Jowie threw for Jackie.
The now YouTube vlogger did not miss her words, she put it out all in the open;
“A lot of my ‘friends’,” Jacque said using air quotes, ” Did not want to associate with me, people who I really thought I was very close to. Some, I heard did public statements. I did not see them, disassociating themselves from me. These are people who we have been seen going on holiday with, you know, being told we are squad goals.”
She spoke to Carol Mandi of True love magazine, saying;
“I will be very honest with you. I have like two female friends, to date, who stood by me from the beginning. The rest of my friends are guys, but now you come to learn who your true circle is. I don’t want to say I lost many friends because they were not friends, I just gained true ones.”

The friendship between the five ladies ended as quickly as it started. After the numerous Instagram postings and endless shows of online love, the five could not maintain a real bond.
Jackie whose career ended after being charged with the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani. She narrated how the whole experience toured her mentally. She lost everything, her job, so-called friends, and money.
The journalist says she is not bitter about the abandonment but she says the whole experience opened her eyes to the reality of life. She says she did not lose friends but gained real ones.
