Comedian Lasizwe Dambuza recently helped mobilize South Africans to raise funds in support of less endowed students in need of tertiary, but he himself has no interest in going back to school.
The YouTuber together with many kind hearted people in Mzansi raised over R1 million in 5 days to support students in the #feesmustfall campaign. He took to social media to express his gratitude to Mzansi for contributing towards such a worthy course.
In an interview with TshisaLive Lasizwe said he was moved by the passion of the students to receive tertiary education and decided to help them with the fees with such an initiative but played down the chance of him going back to school.
To be honest, I don’t plan on going back to school. I know myself enough to know that school is probably going to bore me now. I mean, school was tricky even then so I don’t want to waste money, especially when there are people that really want the chance to go to school but don’t have it.
The star stated he was content things worked out for him in the end after deciding not to continue his formal education.
Right when I began my career, I was supposed to go to varsity but things didn’t work out and any chance I had to go was destroyed when my mother died.
