The conscious rapper who is currently riding high with his viral hit song Glory posted well wishes to the country which borders his home county of Kisumu to the West.

The messages of solidarity comes as 16 people were killed in running street battles between protesters and police in the Ugandan capital. The protests are over the Wednesday arrest of Ugandan pop-star and presidential candidate Bobi Wine. The singer has been accused of breaching Coronavirus rules with his mass rallies for the upcoming national elections in January 2021.

Simple Boy who hails from the the slums of Kibera knows a thing or two about violence and all we hope is that Uganda heeds his message of peace
