Ghanaian reggae-dancehall musician, Livingstone Etse Satekla, aka Stonebwoy is likely to join a major record label in the US by the end of 2021.

The reggae dancehall icon has finally succumbed to the ongoing pressure from Ghanaians after the 63rd Grammy Award on Sunday, March 14, 2021.

According to Stonebwoy, he’s finally discovered a secret that major labels are the enzymes in the global successes of Nigerian musicians.

Apparently, the post was triggered by the pressure from Ghanaian music lovers for a Ghanaian to win the prestigious plaque from the Recording Academy.

The recent global success of Burna Boy has been linked to a deal he inked with P-Diddy in 2020 which made him the Executive producer of Burna’s “Twice As Tall” album – which won the Global Music Album award at the recent Grammy.

It appears Stone is eyeing a similar success in the future hence his move to “sell his freedom!”.
