Fergusons affectionately known in the entertainment industry as Shona and Connie, is one of Mzansi’s most admired power couple in ZAlebville and they have crafted such an inspiring love story!

The two-shot fame with their acting careers and they have since become household names with a legion of fans. Their love is nothing short of amazing, it is pure and they always melt the hearts of many people when they gush over each other.

Their love story reads like a fairytale because they are both are monied, successful beautiful shuu, you can name everything The Fergusons got this thing on lock now. Phew! where does one find love like this guys?

When they said love is a beautiful thing this is the kinda love they are talking about. The power couple has been married for almost two decades and they are still going strong. We recently asked fans on Facebook what they love about them and their responses were amazing.

Fans reiterated that what stands out for them is their unity. The word unity is very important in a relationship because it means that y’all do everything together and you support each other’s decisions.

There you have it Unity that is the word guys?  We love it because The Fergusons have always been united and we are proof of that.

In 2001 the couple made things official and have a daughter together, Alicia, and raised Connie’s daughter from her first marriage together. The couple renewed their vows in a star-studded ceremony in 2011.

Whilst many couples have seen in all in their relationships from breakups, fights and other challenges it is safe to say that The Fergusons always keep their private matters under wraps, and although they might encounter challenges they seemingly always reach an amicable solution and resolve their problems privately.

In 2011 they launched their production company, Ferguson Films. The company has produced multiple hit series for Mzansi Magic, which includes Rockville, iGazi, The Gift, The Throne, The Herd, The Queen, and The Imposter. The couple often acts in their own productions, for example, Connie played the role of Mavis Mabaso on Rockville and is the female lead in The Queen.

The power couple keeps on serving us with some real relationship goals. The producers recently announced that their much anticipated action-packed series Kings of Joburg will premiere on Netflix this coming December.


The series will hit Netflix on December 4, 2020, and we are already here for it. In a trailer shared on Instagram by Shona, the series tells the dark tales of the city of gold. Crime, fighting, and arrests are the order of the day.
