Alvin Mentian Kamara (born July 25, 1995) is an American football running back who plays for the National Football League’s New Orleans Saints. After transferring from the University of Alabama, he played collegiate football at the University of Tennessee and was picked by the Saints in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
He was voted the NFL Rookie of the Year in 2017 and has appeared in all five of his NFL seasons, as well as being a two-time second-team All-Pro selection. Kamara surpassed Ernie Nevers as the second player in NFL history to record six running touchdowns in a single game in 2020.
