James Solages is an American resident arrested for being a suspect in the murder of Haitian President Jovenel Moise.
Moise served as the president of Haiti from 2017 until he was killed by a group of 28 people, according to Police Chief Leon Charles.
The group included 26 Colombians and 2 Haitian-American, one of them being James Solages.
Solages was presented at the press conference on Thursday along with 16 other suspects with handcuffs.

Solages is known to work as a bodyguard for the Canadian Embassy in Haiti previously.

Although Solages has been arrested for being a suspect as a murderer, the Haitian officials have not disclosed any information on what led them to believe for privacy concerns.
In addition, the Tamarac resident has a clean history of having zero criminal records.

However, his Facebook page has informed that James was originally from Jacmel, a town on Haiti’s Southern Coast.
Solages revealed he attended Fort Lauderdale High School in the early 2000s.
According to his Facebook bio, he was an alumnus of Atlantic Technical College and Florida Career College, where he got an associate degree in IT.
Besides, he is a president of Florida- registered business FWA SA A JACMEL AVAN, INC.
Solages is multilingual as he can speak Spanish, English, French, and Haitian languages.
