Zoe Ball is a British journalist born on November 23 1970 to Johnny Ball, a TV personality known for hosting children’s programmes in the 1980s and Julia Ball. She was born in Blackpool in the United Kingdom.
Zoe has the record of being the first female to host both Radio 1 Breakfast and The Radio 2 Breakfast Show for the BBC. She started her education at Heston Junior School and later went to the Farnham Common First School and Farnham Common Middle School.
After middle school, she attended the Holy Cross Convent School in Chalfont St Peter and Amersham College of Art and Technology. She also trained as an actress at the Young Theatre School at Beaconsfield.
Her first TV appearance was in the 1980s when she was part of the Saturday morning children’s show, Saturday Superstore. Zoe began her professional television career on BSkyB as a runner at Granada Television and a researcher for the Cool Cube.
She later earned a job as a researcher for quiz shows for two years. From then, she was often made to host shows and Co-host with other TV personalities.
