Robert Saleh is an American football coach, was born on 31 January 1979. Saleh is a native of Dearborn, MI, and attended Northern Michigan University where he spent four years on the team as a tight end. He earned his finance degree before getting into coaching.

A self-described “coaching junkie” who has been in the NFL since 2006, Saleh enters 2018 as an up-and-coming leader of one of the top defenses in football. Hired by Falcons head coach Dan Quinn in 2015 with the team starting a youth movement on defense, the former college tight end helped mold an extremely young corps into solid defensive players.

Robert Saleh took over as defensive play-caller midway through last season and his unit held 11 opponents to 17 or fewer points and was one of seven to allow fewer than 300 yards per game.

As of 2021, he is 42 years old with 6feet, 2inches tall in height.
