Luetge was released from the Mariners’ 40-man roster on September 5, 2015. He has only thrown 2.1 innings of scoreless ball entire season, having spent the majority of it in Triple-A. Luetge chose free agency on November 7, 2015.
Luetge signed a minor league contract with the Los Angeles Angels on November 17, 2015. Luetge was selected to the Angels’ active roster on May 22, 2016, however he was designated for assignment on May 25 after failing to make an appearance for the big league club.
He was outrighted to the Triple-A Salt Lake Bees on May 27 and spent the rest of the season with them. Luetge chose free agency on October 3, 2016.
Luetge signed a minor league contract with the Cincinnati Reds on November 25, 2016.
Luetge has been assigned to the Louisville Bats of the Triple-A level. Luetge was released by the Reds on June 1, 2017.
Luetge signed a minor league contract with the Baltimore Orioles on June 4, 2017. On November 6, 2017, he opted free agency after finishing the season with the Triple-A Norfolk Tides.
Luetge signed a minor league agreement with the Arizona Diamondbacks on February 4, 2019.
In 2019, he tied for the most games pitched in the minor minors with 55. Luetge opted for free agency on November 7, 2019, after splitting the season between the Double-A Jackson Generals and the Triple-A Reno Aces.
