The full-length documentary recounts the narrative of Israeli fraudster Shimon Hayut Alias Simon Leviev, who designated ladies on dating applications and in the wake of causing them to accept they were seeing someone, them out of enormous amounts of cash.

Cecilie is a 33-year-old user experience designer from Norway. She previously coordinated with Leviev on Tinder in January 2018. Cecilie had not since quite a while ago moved to London when she ended up going out with who she believed was a globe-jogging mogul money manager.
In 2018, she took her story to the Norwegian paper VG, and later shared it for the Netflix documentary The Tinder Swindler.
Swedish Pernilla is a Stockholm-based autonomous entrepreneur. She initially met Leviev in March 2018, only two months after he coordinated with Cecilie.
She had recently parted from her life partner of just about eight years and ventured out to travel to Amsterdam, Stockholm, Mykonos, and Rome to meet the supposed “ruler of precious stones”.
