Gilbert Jeremy Gottfried, known simply as Gilbert Gottfried, is an American comedian, actor, and broadcaster. He was born on February 28, 1955, in Brooklyn, New York.

Gilbert was widely known for his iconic voice and voice acting. According to TMZ, Gilbert’s rep, Glenn Schwartz, revealed the actor died from a “heart abnormality called Ventricular Tachycardia due to Myotonic Dystrophy type II.”

Dara and Gilbert wedded in 2007 and were married for 15 years before his unfortunate death on April 12, 2022.

The couple have been blessed to have two children together: Lily Aster Gottfried, and Max Aaron Gottfried. Their daughter Lily Aster was born in 2007, and their son Max Aaron was born in 2009.

Dara Kravitz is an American filmmaker and a radio podcaster.

His family issued a statement on Facebook to comment on the death of the global icon. Their post read; “We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved Gilbert Gottfried after a long illness.

“In addition to being the most iconic voice in comedy, Gilbert was a wonderful husband, brother, friend, and father to his two young children.”
