Hunter William Dozier is a Major League Baseball third baseman for the Kansas City Royals in the United States.
After playing collegiate baseball at Stephen F. Austin State University, the Royals selected Dozier eighth overall in the first round of the 2013 MLB draft. In 2016, he made his MLB debut.

He reported to the Royals’ Arizona League complex before joining the Rookie-level Pioneer League’s Idaho Falls Chukars.
In August, he was promoted to the Lexington Legends of the South Atlantic League’s Class A division. Between Idaho Falls and Lexington, he hit.308 with seven home runs and 52 RBIs in 69 games.
Dozier started the 2014 season with the Wilmington Blue Rocks of the Carolina League’s Class A-Advanced division. On June 18, the Royals assigned him to the Class AA Texas League’s Northwest Arkansas Naturals.
