Stacey Chanelle Clare Solomon was born on October 4, 1989, in Dagenham, London, to Fiona and David Solomon. Her mother was born into an Anglican household and was the daughter of a vicar, but she converted to Judaism before marrying Solomon’s father, who is of Iraqi and Polish ancestry.
When she was nine years old, her parents split. “Growing up, the influence Judaism had on me was an overwhelming awareness to love people around you, care for others as if they were part of your family, and aspire to be the greatest individual you can be,” she said of her Jewish upbringing.
She went to a Christian primary school, where she “felt included and no different from [her] peers,” then went on to the Jewish Kantor King Solomon High School in Barkingside later.
On September 22, 2016, it was revealed that Solomon would replace Laura Whitmore as co-host of the newly renamed “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” spin-off “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Extra Camp”, alongside Vicky Pattison, Joe Swash, and Chris Ramsey. She didn’t return for the following series. Vicky Pattison, Joe Swash, and Chris Ramsey all attended Extra Camp. She didn’t return for the next season.
Solomon won £60,000 in her individual chase against Anne Hegerty on a celebrity episode of The Chase that aired on October 30, 2016.
Solomon made an appearance on ITV2’s Love Island: Aftersun, a conversation show that runs alongside Love Island, on June 25, 2017. She also took part in a celebrity edition of Channel 4’s The Crystal Maze.
