Johannes Strolz is an Austrian World Cup alpine ski racer. He won the gold medal in the combined at the 2022 Olympics. He specializes in the technical events of slalom and giant slalom. He is the son of Hubert Strolz, the gold medalist in Combined at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary.

Strolz achieved his first podium, by winning the slalom race in Adelboden in January 2022. He also won the Combined race at the 2022 Olympics.

Johannes Strolz Parents: Hubert Strolz

Hubert Strolz is the father of Austrian World Cup alpine ski racer Johannes Strolz. Hubert is said to have also been a ski racer who also won gold medalist in Combined at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary.

Hubert Strolz, nickname “Hubsi”, is a former alpine skier from Austria. At the 1988 Olympics in Calgary he won a gold medal in the combined and silver in the Giant Slalom.

In the World Cup, he won a combined competition on 17 January 1988, in Bad Kleinkirchheim.
