June Konadu Sarpong OBE is a British television presenter and executive.

She is a panellist on the Sky News programme The Pledge and was said to have been appointed as the BBC’s first Director of Creative Diversity in November of 2019.

Born on May 31, 1977 (age 44 years), in Forest Gate, London, in the  United Kingdom, June Konadu Sarpong is the daughter of  Samuel Sarpong Sr. 

June has one sibling by the name of Sam Sarpong.

Sarpong was born in Newham, London, to Ghanaian parents Thelma (née Amihere) and Samuel Sarpong.

June began her high school education at the  Connaught School for Girls in Leytonstone and furthered it to college at the  Sir George Monoux College in Walthamstow

In 1977, June began his career in the media sphere as a worker for radio station Kiss 100.  Her elder brother Sam Sarpong was said to have committed suicide after he jumped from a bridge in Pasadena, California.

Sam Sarpong was the host of MTV’s Yo Momma and doubled as an actor as well.
