24-year-old Kristofer Bubic was born on August 19, 1997, he is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Major League Baseball Kansas City Royals.
Bubic graduated from Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, California, where he played football and baseball. He went 8–2 with a 0.89 ERA as a junior, and as a senior, he had a 1.20 ERA and struck out 82 hitters in 70 innings pitched.

He was not taken out of high school in the 2015 Major League Baseball draft, instead, he attended Stanford University and played college baseball for the Stanford Cardinal.
Bubic was selected 40th overall by the Kansas City Royals in the 2018 Major League Baseball draft, and he signed a one-year contract with the Royals on June 18 for $1,597,500.
He made his career debut with the Idaho Falls Chukars, with whom he was awarded a Pioneer League All-Star. Bubic was 2–3 with a 4.03 ERA in ten starts for Idaho Falls.
Bubic started the 2019 season with the Lexington Legends. He was promoted to the Wilmington Blue Rocks after posting a 4–1 record with a 2.08 ERA in nine starts. He was 7–4 with a 2.30 ERA in 17 starts with Wilmington. Bubic has been selected to play in the 2019 All-Star Futures Game.
