Louis Leterrier is a French film director and producer whose films include the first two Transporter films, Unleashed (2005), The Incredible Hulk (2008), and several others.
On the set of Alien Resurrection, Louis aided Jean-Pierre Jeunet. He collaborated on ads for Club Internet and L’Oréal, as well as the film Joan of Arc, alongside Luc Besson.
He also worked on the production of Astérix & Obélix: Mission Cléopâtre alongside Alain Chabat as the second assistant director (2002).
The Transporter, an action film starring Jason Statham, was directed by Louis Leterrier.
Despite the fact that the US release names him as creative director and Corey Yuen as director, the European release’s opening titles give him directorial credit and Yuen as an action director.
Along with Chris Nahon and Pierre Morel, Leterrier later joined the so-called “Besson stable,” a group of directors working on films produced by or linked with Luc Besson.
