Nestor Cortés Jr. is a Cuban-American professional baseball pitcher who now works for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball.

He is known by the nicknames Nasty Nestor and Hialeah Kid (MLB). His past teams in Major League Baseball (MLB) were the Baltimore Orioles and the Seattle Mariners.

Cortés was born in the Cuban town of Surgidero de Batabanó. When he was just seven months old, his father became a citizen of the United States after winning the visa lottery.

They settled in the city of Hialeah, which is situated in the state of Florida. At the age of four, Cortes began his career as a baseball player. H

Hialeah High School, located in Hialeah, Florida, was Cortés’ high school of choice. He has decided to play baseball for Florida International University on the collegiate level.

The four-seam fastball that Cortés throws travels at an average of roughly 91 miles per hour. In addition to the curveball, he has a cutter, slider, changeup, and changeup in his arsenal.

His curveball has been timed at only 47 miles per hour, the slowest of his pitches. Cortés is able to effectively conceal the ball in his wind-up, which helps to compensate for the limitations imposed by his smaller physique.

The arm angle he uses to throw a slider or curveball is somewhat less steep than the arm angle he uses to launch his four-seam fastball.

In addition to using ingenuity in his windup, Cortés is able to throw batters off their timing. In some instances, he alters the timing of his steps, and in other instances, he pauses and rocks back and forth in the middle of his wind-up.

In other instances, he condenses the duration of his wind-up and throws the ball extremely rapidly.
