He was teammates with Hagen Danner at Huntington Beach. He hit.330 as a senior in 2017, with nine home runs and 22 RBIs. He is committed to play college baseball at the University of Southern California (USC).
Pratto was regarded as one of the most promising prospects in the 2017 Major League Baseball draft. The Kansas City Royals selected him with the 14th overall choice in the draft.
He signed with the Arizona League Royals and made his professional debut there, batting .247 with four home runs, 34 RBIs, and ten stolen bases in 52 games.
In 127 games with the Lexington Legends in 2018, he hit .280/.343/.443 with 14 home runs, 62 RBIs, and 22 stolen bases.
Pratto played for the Wilmington Blue Rocks in 2019.
