How Long Has Pharrell Been with Helen?

Pharrell William has been married to Helen Lasichanh since 2013.

According to Rolling Stone, the pair got engaged in 2012 after dating for more than five years and being friends for more than two years before that.

In a 2014 interview with Oprah, Williams confessed that he was pulled to Lasichanh right away, but that the attraction wasn’t mutual at first.

“She was the only one who stood out.” He told Oprah, “I was like, ‘Who and what is that?'” “I knew something was going to happen at some time.”

Williams also told Oprah that music brought him and his now-wife closer together. Their common passion and respect of A Tribe Called Quest, in particular, was a deal breaker for Williams, who claims that all of his previous significant relationships had to share his Tribe devotion.

Williams and Lasichanh married in Miami in 2013, shooting their wedding photographs on a yacht, like the unorthodox and fashion-forward couple that they are.

Williams and Lasichanh have four children between them. Rocket was born in 2008, and Williams has referred to him as “the finest song he’s ever co-written” with his “bestie” Lasichanh.

On the Today show in 2013, he said, “It’s wonderful.” Williams and Lasichanh added triplets to their family in January.
