“Bridge to Baghdad,” “Dope Sick Love,” “Taking the Hill,” and “Little Rock Central: 50 Years Later” are among the films the Renaud Brothers are responsible for. All of them have received positive reviews, and several of them have received awards and nominations.
Over the years, the brothers have worked in a variety of war and conflict zones, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt, and Libya.
They were infiltrated with the US army in Iraq in 2004 and were recording when a rocket attack killed four troops and badly injured two others at an American military base near Baghdad.
They’ve received numerous accolades for their work, including a Peabody Award for a series they produced for VICE News on a Chicago school for troubled adolescents.
They’ve also been nominated for a number of Emmys.
They reside and work in New York City and Little Rock, Arkansas, according to their website.
Brent Renaud was shot and killed in Irpin, Ukraine, on Sunday, according to Kyiv police commander Andriy Nebytov.
