Candace Owens is an American conservative political activist and commentator. She is well known for her support for the international activist movement Black Lives Matter, as well as her pro-Trump remarks and critical attitude on the Democratic Party (BLM).
She promotes black conservatism and developed the Red Pill Black website and YouTube channel to promote the US political and social movement. She was the CEO of Degree180 and the founder of SocialAutopsy.com, an anti-cyberbullying website that was never completed.
She worked for Turning Point USA, a conservative non-profit organization in the United States, from 2017 to 2019. She was hired as the director of urban engagement for the company and eventually promoted to vice president.
She founded the Blexit campaign in order to urge African Americans to leave the Democratic Party and join the Republican Party. She appeared on many far-right conspiracy websites, such as InfoWars, but after attaining mainstream prominence, she distanced herself from such sites.
