Who is Ben Affleck

Affleck-Boldt is an actor and filmmaker from the United States. Two Academy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards are among his numerous achievements. He debuted in the PBS educational programme The Voyage of the Mimi when he was a kid.

Benjamin Géza Affleck-Boldt was born in Berkeley, California, on August 15, 1972. When he was three years old, his family relocated to Massachusetts, settling in Falmouth, where his brother Casey was born, before settling in Cambridge.

Christopher Anne  Boldt, his mother, was a Harvard-trained elementary school teacher. Timothy Byers Affleck, his father, was a dramatist who was “largely jobless.”

Ben Affleck Career

Throughout his childhood, Affleck worked as an actor. At the age of seven, he made his debut in the indie film The Dark End of the Street (1981), directed by a family friend, Jan Egleson.

As a kid actor, he was most known for starring in the PBS children’s programs The Voyage of the Mimi (1984) and The Second Voyage of the Mimi (1988), which were made for sixth-grade science students.

From the age of eight to fifteen, Affleck worked on Mimi “sporadically” in Massachusetts and Mexico.

The New York Times’ Stephen Holden praised Affleck’s “affably mopey portrayal hits precisely the perfect mix between annoying and sad sack” in the college drama Glory Daze (1995), in which he played an aimless art student.

Ben Affleck Private Life

From 2005 through 2018, Affleck was married to actress Jennifer Garner. They started dating in mid-2004, after meeting on the sets of Pearl Harbor (2001) and Daredevil (2001). (2003).

On June 29, 2005, they married in a private Turks & Caicos wedding. The only visitors were the officiant, Victor Garber, and his companion, Rainer Andreesen. Affleck and Garner are parents to three children.
