Paul Ginsborg’s bloodline is Jewish. His Alma Mater is Queens College, Cambridge. He graduated with a B.A. in 1966 and was also a part of Churchill College in Cambridge. Paul signed a call against the law project in January 2002. This call was presented by Justice Minister Clemente Mastella, which was to specifically penalize Holocaust denial.
Paul and all those who signed the call argued that Italy’s legislation was sufficient to cope with such acts. The amended law project finally restricted itself to reinforcing sentences concerning hate speech in the country.
