Antony Blinken is an American government official and diplomat serving as the 71st United States secretary of state since January 26, 2021.
During the Clinton organization, Blinken served in the State Department and in senior situations on the National Security Council from 1994 to 2001.
He was a senior individual at the Center for Strategic and International Studies from 2001 to 2002.
He pushed for the 2003 intrusion of Iraq while filling in as the Democratic staff overseer of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee from 2002 to 2008.
He was an international strategy guide for Joe Biden’s 2008 official mission, prior to prompting the Obama-Biden official progress.
From 2009 to 2013, Blinken filled in as representative right hand to the president and public safety guide to the VP.
During his residency in the Obama administration, he helped make U.S. strategies on Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the atomic program of Iran.
Subsequent to leaving the taxpayer-driven organization, Blinken moved into the private area, helping to establish WestExec Advisors, a counseling firm.
