Daniel Meirion Walker, professionally called Dan Walker is a well-known journalist born on March 19, 1977, in Crawley, United Kingdom. Dan grew up attending Ifield Primary School, Three Bridges Middle School, and Hazelwick Secondary School.
He then enrolled at the University of Sheffield where he earned a bachelor’s degree in History in 1998 and an MA degree in Journalism Studies in 1999.
After he graduated In 1999, he got employed at Manchester’s Key 103 radio as a sports presenter and commentator and he was also in charge of the midweek sports show.
Dan left the radio and began working on TV. His first work on television was at Granada Television in Manchester where he was a commentator on the Football League Review show.
After he started working on television, he started getting a lot of nominations for several awards. In 2005, he won the Royal Television Society Sports Award for Regional Sports Presenter of the Year. He was not present to receive the award himself that day as he was in Istanbul covering the Champions League final.
In November 2020 when the National Football League (NFL) show resigned, Dan was made to replace him as the new host of The NFL Show.
