On March 9, 1990, Chad Guy Daybell (born August 11, 1968, Provo, Utah) married Tamara “Tammy” Douglas (born May 4, 1970, Manti, Utah) in Manti, Utah.
He earned a B.A. in journalism from Brigham Young University (BYU) in 1992 and worked as a cemetery sexton, or gravedigger, among other professions.
Chad established Spring Creek Book Company in 2004 to self-publish his end-of-the-world fiction and other religious publications.
In this endeavor, he partnered with Douglas, a graphic designer, and manager who was only known by his first name in the media. Garth, Emma, Seth, Leah, and Mark were Chad and Tammy’s five children.
Chad stated in 2015 that he heard a voice urging him to go to Rexburg, Idaho. That June, he and Tammy relocated from Springville, Utah.
Who is Lori Vallow Husband?
Chad and Lori married on November 5, 2019, in Hawaii, two weeks after Chad’s first wife, Tammy Daybell, died. They informed people that Tylee died in 2017 and/or that Lori did not have any children.
Back in Rexburg, police went to Lori’s townhouse on November 26 at the request of J.J.’s grandmother, Kay Woodcock, to check on him. J.J. was in Arizona with his family, Lori informed authorities.
Lori and Alex Cox were packing a vehicle outside her house that night, according to a neighbor. The residence was abandoned when Rexburg police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrived the next day to search it.
