Chris Julius Rock III was born on February 7, 1965. He was born in the town of Andrews, South Carolina. He is the son of Julius Rock and Rosalie (nee Kingman).
During his mother’s teaching career, his father worked as a newscaster. When Chris was a child, his parents decided to relocate to Crown Heights in Brooklyn, New York. Regrettably, after having ulcer surgery, they were unable to spend time with their father.
Chris is not an only kid; he has three brothers named Tony, Kenny, and Jordan. He had an old half-brother who battled alcoholism and passed away in 2006.
Chris Rock was educated at a number of schools, most of which were located in Brooklyn’s White Barrios, where the majority of the students were white.
Unfortunately, being a black American, he was subjected to a great deal of bullying at school. Things were supposed to improve when he was in high school, but that never happened.
As a result, they elected to take him out while he was still a student at James Madison High School. As a result, he dropped out of high school but was able to obtain a GED.
