Darrell Bevell Biography
Darrell Bevell is an American football coach who plies his trade in the National Football League as the interim head coach and offensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He has been with the likes of Minnesota Vikings as their offensive coordinator from 2006 to 2010, the Seattle Seahawks from 2011 to 2017, and for the Detroit Lions in 2019.
He schooled at Chaparral High School and graduated from the University of Wisconsin. Darrell is a married man and has three children named Kylie Bevell, Hailey Bevell, and Morgan Bevell together with his wife, Tammy Bevell.

Darrell Bevell Coaching Career
Darrell Bevell started his coaching career in the National Football League (NFL) in 2000 when he was hired by the Green Bay Packers as an offensive assistant. He was then promoted to become the quarterbacks’ coach in 2003.
With the Minnesota Vikings, he was hired as the offensive coordinator in 2006. During the 2011 season, Bevell was not retained as the offensive coordinator by new Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier. Bill Musgrave was hired to replace Bevell.
On January 21, 2011, Darrell had the opportunity to join the Seattle Seahawks coaching staff as offensive coordinator after Jeremy Bates got fired from the team due to offensive philosophy difference.
During his tenure, the Seahawks were able to finish the 2013 season with a 13-3 record and eventually defeated the Denver Broncos by a score of 43–8 in Super Bowl XLVIII. Unfortunately for Bevell, he was dismissed in January 2018.
Detriot Lions replaced Jim Bob Cooter with Darrell Bevell as offensive coordinator. He took the position of interim head coach following the firing of head coach Matt Patricia. Luckily for him, he got his first-ever head coaching job on December 6, 2020.
On January 21, 2021, Jacksonville Jaguars hired Bevell as offensive coordinator under the watch of Urban Meyer. The Jaguars fired Meyer during the second consecutive season and named Bevell as interim head coach following a 2–11 start to the season.
