Dwayne Haskins, the National Football League star tragically died on Saturday, April 9, 2022. The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback was killed in South Florida just weeks after he signed a new contract with the team.

According to reports, Haskins was struck by a truck in Boca Raton in southern Palm Beach where he was training with Steelers teammates. The athlete was just 24 at his time of death, with his 25th birthday approaching on May 3.

Latest updates about his death revealed by the Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman Lt. Indiana Miranda confirmed that Haskins was the individual who was hit by a dump truck this morning.

Lt. Indiana Miranda added that the football quarterback walking on a South Florida highway when he was hit. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
