On January 23, 1973, Nicholas Anthony Christopher Candy was born. He is a year older than his younger brother, Christian Candy. Nick and Christian both attended Prior Preparatory School before moving on to Epsom College.
Nick eventually received a degree in Human Geography at the University of Redding, while Christian dropped out of King’s College London’s business management program.
Candy is a real estate developer who has made a fortune developing mansions for the affluent and famous in the United Kingdom and the United States.
He got his start in the market with his younger brother Christian in 1995, when they acquired a property in London’s Earl’s Court district with a £6,000 loan from their grandmother and rebuilt it to make a £50,000 profit in 18 months.
The brothers proceeded to acquire property to flip alongside full-time work for the rest of the 1990s until moving into property full-time. They operate different businesses yet work together.

Candy has twins from a previous engagement with socialite Emily Crompton, but he has been married to Australian actress and singer Holly Valance since 2012 – Katy Perry was paid £1.2 million to perform at their wedding in Beverley Hills. He and his wife are the parents of two girls.
Candy was the primary fundraiser for Conservative London mayoral candidate Shaun Bailey, and she was believed to have given £100,000 to the Conservative Party in March 2020.
