Robin Parkinson, born Christopher Robin Parkinson was a popular British comedy actor known for his comedy roles. Robin was born on October 25, 1929, in Coventry in the United Kingdom. He died on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at the age of 92.

Robin started acting in the 1960s when he performed at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry. His first movie was Billy Liar in 1963 where he played the role of the jeweller’s assistant. He was active in the movie industry from the 1960s to the 1980s.

He featured in several TV series including The Kenny Everett Television Show and The Dick Emery Show. He also appeared in the TV show, the love interest of Miss Jones as Desmond. Robin was also a cast in The Professionals, series 2, episode 8 “A Stirring of Dust” in 1978 where he played the role of a taxi driver.

In the series ‘Allo ‘Allo!, he became a replacement after the death of the first portrayer Derek Royle. He appeared as the second actor to portray Monsieur Ernest Leclerc in 22 episodes of the series.
