Who is Joe and Jess Thwaite?
After winning the £184 million Euromillions jackpot, Joe and Jess Thwaite became the largest winners in the history of the National Lottery in the United Kingdom.
Following their victory, the pair, both of whom are in their forties and are from Gloucestershire, made their announcement public at the Ellenborough Park hotel in Cheltenham.
The Thwaites have been married for 11 years, with Mrs Thwaite being 46 and Mr Thwaite being 49.
Both Mr and Mrs Thwaite were still going to work on the day that they found out they had won the jackpot.
Mrs Thwaite owns a hairdressing salon, and Mr Thwaite is a communication sales engineer. When the communications sales engineer discovered that he had won using the National Lottery app,
he said that he was in shock and could not believe it. Mr Thwaite said his luck was “quite poor” when it came to playing the lottery,
but at 4 o’clock on Tuesday that would change his life and he decided that he “better buy a ticket” because of the enormous payout.
Who Are Joe and Jess Thwaites, Children?
The couple are parents to two children who are still in elementary school, and Mr Thwaite also has two children from a previous marriage who are currently enrolled in higher education.
However, the names of the children and other personally identifying information are not yet public.
