Who is Johnny Brown?

Johnny Brown is an American actor, comic and stage performer who was mostly;y known and regarded for his role as the housing project superintendent Nathan Bookman on the TV show Good Times.

The actor mostly worked in a nightclub as a  stage performer as well as a comic actor, and a regular cast member of the television series Laugh-in.

Johnny was said to have had a very broad and ingratiating smile which he made along with these great jokes which always got people wanting to listen to him.

Johnny’s death was announced by his daughter Sharon who also happens to be an actress via  post on her Instagram handle as she wrote saying;

“Our family is devastated. Devastated. Devastated. Beyond heartbroken. Barely able to breathe,” Sharon noted in her Instagram post.

“We respectfully ask for privacy at this time because we need a minute to process the unthinkable. To articulate the depths of profound sadness.

This is my mom’s husband for sixty-one years, mine and JJ’s dad, Elijah and Levi’s Pop-Pop, older brother to George and brother in law to Pat and extended family to Chris, Hihat, Damian and Derell.”

Johnny Brown is said to have gotten married to his beautiful wife June Brown in the year1961 and they welcomed two children together; daughter Sharon and a son named John Brown Jr.

Tho June was married to the performer, little was known about her as she liked to keep her life private and away from the public.
