Singer, songwriter and producer Leah Marlene hails from the United States. She gained fame as a contestant on the 20th season of the ABC singing competition American Idol, where she competed against the likes of Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie.
Leah completed her high education at Normal Community West High School in Normal, Illinois. A songwriting major with an emphasis on honors at Belmont University, she dropped out before completing her degree.
