Who Is June Brown’s Ex-Husband?
In 1958, a year after John’s death, June married stage performer Robert Arnold. Arnold met June when he joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon, and they appeared together in numerous performances.
He rose to prominence for his portrayal as PC Reginald Swain in Dixon Of Dock Green, Britain’s longest-running police drama. He starred in 132 episodes.
In 1979, he appeared in an episode of Fawlty Towers, and in 1982, he appeared in the US drama Dynasty. The pair, who lived in Folkestone, Kent, had been married for 45 years.
They were married until he died in 2003 of Lewy-body dementia, a brain illness that causes issues with thinking, mobility, behavior, and emotions.
