Who Is Harry Diamond?

Caddie Harry Diamond is Rory’s right-hand guy. Harry Diamond was born in Ireland. He has competed for Ireland at both the Boys and Youth levels.

Furthermore, he has made his senior debut for his country. The Co Down man has been in Rory’s bag since the end of 2017 and has aided him in overcoming some significant obstacles on the course,

most notably at the Wells Fargo Championship a few weeks ago, when Diamond’s guidance on the final hole helped McIlroy cement his triumph.

He is a talented golfer. This year, he won the West of Ireland Championship in his division. He was able to get a berth in the Irish Open that year as a result of this. In addition,

he made it to the final of the 2011 Northern Ireland Championships. When Rory was practising for 2005 Irish Open, the Northern Irishman caddied for him. He later caddied for Rory in the 2011 Masters’ Par Three competition.

After his ball was left deep, sloping lay on the 18th hole at the Wells Fargo Championship earlier this month, Rory McIlroy’s caddy Harry Diamond determined which shot to take.

Diamond convinced the Northern Irishman to accept a penalty drop rather than scrape the ball back onto the fairway.
