Shahabuddin Ahmed, former Bangladesh president and chief justice, died at 92 after serving as as the President of Bangladesh from 1996 to 2001, and the Chief Justice of Bangladesh from 1990 to 1995.
Born on February 1, 1930, in Kendua Upazila, Bangladesh Shahabuddin is said to have died on March 19, 2022, after being taken to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Combined Military Hospital (CMH.)
Ahmed was said to have died due to an ageing-associated disease.
Shahabuddin was once the acting president of Bangladesh after the former president  Hussain Muhammad Ershad resigned during 1990-1991.
He is a holder of a degree in Ec9onomics from the University of Dhaka as well as a master’s in International which he got in the year 1952 as a resident student of Fazlul Haq Hall.
