Tim Scott is an American politician who was elected as a Republican to the U.S. Senate from South Carolina in 2013 and won an extraordinary political decision the next year.

He was the principal African American to be chosen for the Senate from a Southern state since Reconstruction. Scott recently served in the U.S. Place of Representatives (2011-13).

Scott went to Presbyterian College on a football grant prior to moving to Charleston Southern University, where he graduated with a four-year certification (1988) in political theory.

He then worked inland, and by the mid-1990s, he possessed his own protection office.
