What is Alvin Kamara Nationality?

Alvin Kamara is an American who was born July 25, 1995, in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States of America. Although his parents are from Liberia, he has been an American citizen by birth.

Alvin grew up in the Georgia town of Norcross, where he spent his boyhood. He is one of Adama Kamara’s two children, the other being his sister.

Alvin Kamara attended Norcross High School, which is located in the city of Norcross in the state of Georgia. Throughout his high school years, he was a member of the Blue Devils football team.

As a senior in 2012, he rushed for 2,264 yards and 26 touchdowns while also catching 22 passes for 286 yards and five more scores, helping his high school win its first state championship in football.

Kamara was voted Georgia’s Mr. Football by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, was chosen Class 6A Player of the Year by the Georgia Sports Writers Association, and was named to the first team of the Georgia Sports Writers Association’s All-State squad.

As a student in high school, Kamara was offered a scholarship by Syracuse University.  While still a senior, he committed to play collegiate football at the University of Alabama, where he was been coached by Nick Saban.
