Haskins Jr. (born May 3, 1997, died April 9, 2022) was a former American football quarterback who played three seasons in the National Football League.
He attended Ohio State University, where he received the Sammy Baugh Trophy and was named Rose Bowl MVP in 2019. He played NCAA football there.
He was a member of the National Football League’s Washington Redskins / Washington Football Team and the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he played for both teams. He was killed when he was struck by a vehicle when he was 24 years old.
In his ninth-grade year, Haskins and his family moved from Highland Park, New Jersey, to Potomac, Maryland, where he remained until the end of his career.
From 2013 to 2016, he attended Bullis School, where he excelled as a quarterback, throwing for 5,308 yards and 54 touchdowns in four seasons.
His first choice for collegiate football was the University of Maryland, over Rutgers University, but after the Maryland football program was terminated in the middle of the season, he changed his mind and chose to join the Ohio State University football program.
