Who is Rod Marsh’s Brother Graham Marsh
Marsh’s older brother Graham, a professional golfer who won eleven times on the European Tour, used to play backyard cricket with him.
Graham Vivian Marsh MBE is a retired professional golfer who was regarded as one of Australia’s best golfers of his period.
He won almost 70 tournaments across the world during his career, including ten on the European Tour and twenty on the Japan Golf Tour, as well as two senior major championships.
Marsh was born in the Western Australian town of Kalgoorlie. Before going professional in 1969, he attended the University of Western Australia and Claremont Teachers College.
Marsh was a math instructor in the past. Rod Marsh, a cricketer, was his brother.
Marsh made his professional debut at the South Australian Open in May of 1968. He took third place by himself.
He did well in the Caltex Tournament in New Zealand in 1970. He was tied for first with Maurice Bembridge and Terry Kendall as they approached the par-5 18th hole.
He was only able to make par, however. To beat him, his opponents had to play the hole below par. Marsh came in third place by herself, with a score of 287.
Marsh was a frequent winner on the European Tour, the Japan Golf Tour, and the PGA Tour of Australasia in the 1970s and 1980s.
He has won numerous events outside of Japan, including the Asia Golf Circuit overall championship in 1972 and 1973, and the 1977 Heritage Classic on the PGA Tour in the United States.
