Rock was born in the borough of Brooklyn, in the state of New York. He grew up on Decatur Street in the Bedford-Stuyvesant district of New York City, the son of Rosalie Rock[2] and Julius Rock. He was born into a family of seven brothers and two sisters.

Rock hosted a short-lived game show for the Oxygen network called Can You Tell? in the early 2000s. He also served as a correspondent for the fifth season of Comedy Central’s BattleBots.

Rock has been on The Howard Stern Show and The D’Angelo Show, among other radio and television shows.
