Big Brother Naija, formerly known as Big Brother Nigeria, is a Nigerian reality competition television series, based on the Big Brother television franchise.
The second season of Big Brother Nigeria, which was branded Big Brother Naija and premiered on January 22, 2017, 11 years after the first season of Big Brother Nigeria, had a total of 14 housemates, seven of whom were male and seven of whom were female.
The season was hosted by Ebuka, who had previously participated in the show and was a housemate in the first season. It was sponsored by the eCommerce company Payporte, which is based in Nigeria.
In 2017, the winner of the second season was determined to be Efe Ejeba from Delta State.

As it stands now, organizers of the BBNaija 2022 Reunion show are yet to release a statement on how viewers will be able to watch a repeat of the highly-anticipated show.
Meanwhile, AM Urban (DStv channel 153 and GOtv channel 6) and AM Family will carry the reunion show at 10 p.m. on weekdays and at 10:30 p.m. (DStv channel 154 and GOtv channel 2).
On Monday, June 2, at 10 p.m. on Africa Magic and 10:30 p.m. on Africa Magic Family, the Big Brother Reunion will premiere.
