Big Brother is a well-known Dutch reality television series established by John de Mol Jr. The Nigerian version of the Big Brother franchise is known as Big Brother Naija.

Big Brother Naija is one of Nigeria’s most popular and widely viewed reality shows.

This show brings together competitors of all ages, but no younger than 21, from various backgrounds to live in a house together for a period of time – around 95 days – in order to compete for a grand prize worth millions of naira

The housemates are locked up in a house and forced to live together under the watchful eye of Big Brother, who is on the lookout 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Every day, each resident is required to attend a mandatory diary session with Big Brother, during which they can express themselves and ask for favors.

Every Sunday night, the housemates get together for a party, which features notable DJs. Every week, one (or more) housemates are ousted, and the other housemates must propose someone for eviction.
